Mica

Mica is a mineral belonging to the family of layered silicates, known for its lamellar structure composed of thin, overlapping sheets.
This feature gives it a unique combination of flexibility, lightness, and strength.
Mica is available in various types, including muscovite (transparent and colorless) and biotite (darker and rich in iron), each with specific physical and chemical properties.

Thanks to its high thermal resistance, electrical insulation capabilities, and chemical stability, mica is widely used across numerous industrial sectors—including electronics, thermal applications, cosmetics, and construction.
Its ability to withstand high temperatures without degrading, along with its excellent dielectric properties, makes it an essential material for advanced technical and technological applications.

We can also supply parts according to customer drawings.

Mica Sheets

Rigid mica sheets are designed to provide exceptional high-temperature electrical insulation and are composed of approximately 90% mica (Muscovite, Phlogopite, or Synthetic Mica) and 10% high-temperature-resistant silicone resins.
Flexible mica sheets offer the same electrical, chemical, and thermal insulation properties as rigid sheets.
They are also available in Muscovite, Phlogopite, and Synthetic Mica varieties.

Mica Tapes

Mica tapes are highly flexible and can be applied to thinner conductors with diameters as small as 0.8 mm.
Depending on the type of mica tape, it can withstand temperatures up to 1000°C for 3 hours at a voltage of 1000 V.
It is also resistant to saltwater spray and can endure mechanical shocks during flame tests.
This material is non-toxic, and its fumes are harmless even at high temperatures.
